History has always been closely linked to beauty, as numerous characters over the centuries have wanted to leave their mark so that it will be remembered forever.
A masterpiece of architecture and engineering that has enchanted and intrigued the entire world for centuries. Legend has it that King Nebuchadnezzar II had these gardens built as a gift for his queen Amytis, who came from Persia and found the Mesopotamian plain too monotonous and treeless.
To please her, the king decided to create a hanging garden, a real oasis suspended between heaven and earth. The Gardens of Babylon consisted of a series of overlapping terraces, connected by stairs and a complex network of canals and irrigation pipes. The plants have been arranged in such a way as to create a play of colors and shapes, giving life to an explosion of beauty for the eyes and scents for the sense of smell.
Amytis, the queen who inspired this masterpiece, now becomes the name of a new perfume, capable of evoking the same emotions and sensations of wonder and pleasure.
Amytis is a fragrance that contains all the beauty of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, with notes of bergamot, grapefruit, jasmine, rose, geranium, ylang ylang, fig, galbanum, marine accents, pink pepper, patchouli, sandalwood and musk, created from the nose Michele Marin, who through this symphony of notes has captured the essence and atmosphere of the Gardens of Babylon.
Amytis is a bouquet of fresh and green notes, such as bergamot, grapefruit and green accord, which evoke the hanging gardens that inspire the fragrance.
Jasmine and rose, symbols of beauty and refinement, blend with ylang ylang to create an oriental and sensual atmosphere.
The fig and galbanum add a touch of exoticism, while the marine accord and pink pepper make the accord slightly spicy.
Finally the patchouli.
